Assisting with the Healing Process at Sandy Hook in Newtown, CT

Our nation still shares in the grief and horror of the December 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT.

EMDR is a healing approach proven to help with traumas of all degrees, whether horrific, or ordinary.  Thus, EMDR therapists feel a responsibility to help when disaster strikes.  The EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs, or EMDR HAP, are ready to respond through those who have volunteered to join a Trauma Response Network.

This weekend a member of our directory, Patricia Thatcher, LICSW will be part of the Trauma Response Network (TRN) team assisting in healing.  We applaud all who are helping in this important humanitarian work by volunteering their time and competence with EMDR treatment.
