Bruce Lipton, author of “Biology of Belief,” recommends EMDR

When We get Stuck in Dysfunctional Beliefs…

Bruce Lipton, in his book “The Biology of Belief”, talks of the importance of shifting your subconscious beliefs about yourself, because the subconscious is the most powerful part of your mind. No matter what kind of fruitful, positive beliefs you want to consciously adopt  and pursue, if your subconscious beliefs are in conflict, they will continually block your goal attainment.

To solve this dilemma, Dr. Lipton recommends several dramatic therapies he calls “energy psychology treatments,” one of which is EMDR. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing psychotherapy has been researched more than any other method he mentions.  Lipton is accurate about EMDR being “dramatic”.  This comprehensive therapy approach is a very powerful way to change belief in a way that really makes sense.  I am a Certified EMDR therapist.  What I like about EMDR is that the client is conscious about the process every single step of the way.  So you can track the positive changes in your beliefs, emotions and even physical sensations as the changes unfold naturally.

In addition to being powerful, EMDR is relatively quick.  It can work in 1/2 to 1/3 the time of cognitive behavioral therapy.  And, it can resolve one bad experience that has left you with stuck negative beliefs about yourself in just 1-3 ninety minute sessions* for 80%-90% of clients, per much research.

At ComprehensiveTherapyApproach.com we feature only EMDRIA-Certified EMDR Therapists (and we are the only large web directory that can make that claim).  Please click on “EMDR” below to find a therapist in one of the metropolitan areas and states we currently serve**:
