Creating a New Path
Entering treatment may be difficult, especially for those whose previous experiences in therapy have not reached the hoped for results. Although some issues may have been resolved, barriers may still exist which prevent more total resolution of the distressing issue. It is important to find a therapist with whom you can feel comfortable and confident for the journey ahead. Connecting with a therapist with whom you can set realistic goals in a collaborative manner is also important. Then we can establish a treatment plan based upon your individual needs, and work through old feelings, patterns and beliefs which have held you back.
