Are you worn out from trying to do it alone?
I’ve developed my practice around my own life experience in the recovery world. I’ve devoted a great deal of time and energy learning about and specializing in powerful trauma approaches such as EMDR Therapy and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. In addition to traditional talk therapy, I’ve found that approaches which include the body, mind, and spirit are much more effective in rooting out and transforming the “stuck” imprint of the past.
My approach is honest and direct, but also, gentle and compassionate. I enjoy working with clients struggling with addictions, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem and relationships issues.I strive to offer a safe and nurturing environment for EMDR Therapy in Scottsdale, in which clients are encouraged in their journeys to build lives free from the traumatic imprint of the past and its addictive repetitive patterns.
As an EMDRIA-Approved Consultant, I assist other therapists in becoming EMDR Certified. I also offer Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, a body-centered talk therapy, and act as training coordinator/assistant. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Collaborative Communication Skills.
