Dr. Kate Young of Psychelogik Psychological, Inc. is a licensed psychologist who helps her clients reach their full potential in their work and relationships. Dr. Kate’s therapy approach incorporates Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Therapy, all of which have scientific support for their effectiveness.She is EMDRIA Certified in EMDR Therapy and an EMDR Therapy Consultant in Training. She teaches her clients to understand the dynamics behind their problems, to develop skills to increase relaxation and decrease stress, to identify and to deal effectively with the thoughts that contribute to and increase negative emotional states, and to find ways to manage or stop problematic behaviors. She also provides supervision and consultation for other therapists.
